The Sanctuary

Throughout various experiences in my life, I have found the monarch butterfly to be a reoccurring manifestation of joy. For me, it is a symbol of taking the time to appreciate happenstance or seeming minor moments in life. With this in mind, I intended to create an environment that would immerse viewers in an unexpected moment of happiness and excitement, asking them to inspect and appreciate the uniqueness of every butterfly and allowing them to take a butterfly home as a token of their experience.
